사단법인 한국-미얀마 경제안보연구회(KMAESS)는
2025년 설립된
한국-미얀마 경제안보연구소(KM-IESS)의 연구와 교류 활동을 기반으로 출발했습니다.
The Korea-Myanmar Association for Economic and Security Studies (KMAESS)
grew out of the research and exchange activities of the Korea-Myanmar Institute
for Economic and Security Studies (KM-IESS), established in 2025.
미얀마에 대한 전문적인 연구와 현장 활동을 지속하면서
연구자·기업·정부 및
유관기관을 연결하는 보다 공공적이고 지속가능한 플랫폼의 필요성이 커졌고,
이를 바탕으로 2026년 산업통상부 허가 사단법인 KMAESS로 발전하였습니다.
As our specialized research and field activities on Myanmar continued,
the need grew for a more public and sustainable platform connecting researchers,
businesses, government bodies, and related institutions. This led to the establishment
of KMAESS as an incorporated association authorized by the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Energy in 2026.
